In solidarity,

Your I2I Partners

I2I has been with us since the first days of Elevate, and because of their awesome talent, open minds, creativity, responsiveness and collaborative spirit, we’ve been able to learn and shape a truly innovative and uniquely impactful prize program. Our winners feel safe, heard and supported which is why we are able to receive rich and meaningful data with which to evolve the foundation. This wouldn’t be possible without the open hearted and thoughtful approach by this team.

Nina Sabarre, PhD

Founder + CEO

With over a decade of experience delivering innovative research and evaluation for clients in international development and philanthropy, Nina thrives at the intersection of evaluation + entrepreneurship.

Nina is passionate about progressive causes, breaking glass ceilings for women, and using #evalpreneurship to dismantle the status quo. She has consulted for a wide variety of cross-sector institutions ranging from USAID, to the World Bank, Rockefeller Foundation, Open Society Foundations, the Elevate Prize Foundation, Earthjustice, and the Asian Pacific Islander Council. Her work focuses on developmental and utilization-focused evaluation for strategic grantmaking and policy advocacy for systems change.

  • Nina teaches graduate level courses in Evaluation Approaches & Design as an adjunct faculty member of American University. She earned her PhD in Evaluation and Applied Research from Claremont Graduate University and has her Master’s Degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech. She recently served as the 2020-2021 Chair of the Independent Consulting Topical Interest Group of the American Evaluation Association.

Nina’s a dreamer & a doer. You can always find her scribbling ideas in her journal or binging podcasts about business or self-development (& gushing to circle about whatever is inspiring her that day). When she’s not working on the business or in the business, she’s indulging in good food and wine with friends + family in the Washington, DC region, or adventuring outdoors with her husband.
